Learning in Color Corporation (LIC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2014 by educator and mental health professional Carol Bowman. After more than 20 years of working with students, Carol recognized the powerful role that learning environments can play in how children feel, engage, and connect with their education.

Built on the belief that every child deserves an inspiring place to learn, LIC transforms ordinary K–12 learning spaces into vibrant, welcoming environments! Our goal is to create spaces where students feel seen, valued, inspired, and empowered to excel helping them make meaningful connections to their surroundings and rediscover the beauty of learning.
